Why We’re Here

We want to make it easier for beauty professionals to make a living doing what they love.

Dana, a professional hairstylist, and Sam, a professional makeup artist, both specializing in bridal, founded Peer Beauty after recognizing a gap in the industry. As beauty professionals, they struggled to find a space where they could host clients in a hygienic, safe, and collaborative environment that fostered community rather than competition. So, they decided to create that space themselves.

Their vision for Peer Beauty extends beyond workspace solutions; it aims to break down competitive industry stigmas by encouraging collaboration and offering comprehensive support drawn from their years of beauty entrepreneurial experience. Understanding the importance of continuous professional growth, they also launched Peer EDU, providing ongoing development opportunities for their peers and aspiring freelance artists. Dana and Sam are deeply passionate about elevating the beauty industry and making entrepreneurship accessible and supportive.

FAQs

  • No! All are welcome. Rent a station, room, or suite by the hour or day (we offer half day & full day) as you need- no monthly commitment necessary. If you find yourself renting space more than a couple of times each month, a monthly membership is the way to go!

  • The monthly membership includes unlimited access to standard workstations. We do ask that you reserve your time accordingly as we want to be respectful of every artist utilizing the space. All stations are based on availability so we recommend booking early - it’s always best to plan ahead!

    While full-space, private treatment rooms and bridal suite access is not included in your monthly membership, members are eligible to reserve these spaces at exclusive, discounted rates.

  • No, individual memberships are for individual use only. We do however offer a referral program that will earn both you and any qualified referral a $25 credit toward your subscription or space usage. To sign up for our referral program, please click here.

  • Team memberships begin at $500/month and include membership for up to six technicians. Additional technicians can be added under your team membership for an additional $85/month each (maximum 10 technicians per team membership).

  • Should you have the need to cancel your workstation reservation, and you are a monthly member of Peer Beauty, there are no cancellation fees. We do ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice so that the space may be reserved by another member or technician.

    If you are not a member of Peer Beauty and need to cancel your reservation, your payment is 100% refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your reserved date/time. Cancellations received less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment are non-refundable.

    Full-space, private treatment rooms and bridal suite reservations are 100% refundable if canceled at least 48-hours in advance of your reservation. Cancellations received less than 48-hours in advance of your reservation are non-refundable.

  • Should you wish to cancel your membership, please email your request at least 30 days in advance to peerbeautychi@gmail.com. Once you return your elevator key, your $250 deposit will be refunded.

  • Simply cancel your existing reservation and rebook for what you need.

  • If you’ve rented the full-space, you can comfortably host up to 50 guests.

  • Yes! For every artist you refer, you’ll each get a $25 credit toward your subscription or space usage. To sign up for our referral program, please click here.

  • Members will receive a unique code—not to be shared with anyone else—as well as elevator access. All other reservations will be buzzed in.
